Function:
The employee will be responsible for ensuring materials are weighed out and compiled according to a batch ticket, sometimes individually and other times with a team. The employee should have a willingness to grow and adapt with our developing processes. The ideal candidate is comfortable working on their feet, self-motivated, and have basic computer skills and math. At times you may be asked to operate a fill machine, drum tipper, pallet jacks, and forklift (after we certify you). A candidate with experience and a valid driver's license is preferred.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Comply with RSL policies, procedures, and quality standards as well as safety and environmental regulations. Follow RSL SOP for handling and dispensing raw materials. Print labels and label containers and packaging according to labeling procedure. Inspect items and ensure quality when used by looking at expiration dates, debris, or growth. Document work on batch ticket during manufacturing. Dispensing materials by weight into appropriate containers according to a batch ticket. Clean up after each project/batch by sanitizing work area and gloves with Isopropyl alcohol. Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors as noticed. Stack buckets up to 50 lbs up to 4 feet high. Tilting drums up to 500 lbs by using a drum dolly. Execute timely transactions in BatchMaster and locate materials in appropriate location. Always wear safety gear when handling hazardous materials. Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts to move or store inventory. Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from aisles. Work independently and with a team to complete team goals. Sanitize drums and tool as needed throughout the day.
Experience, Abilities and Qualities Required:
High school degree or equivalent Forklift certified or ability to be Valid driver's license Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the shift Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds or more. Physically able to tilt drums using equipment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to work in a fast-paced environment Able to work independently Pays attention to detail and monitors the quality of work Able to maintain an organized work environment Must follow all health and safety procedure and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state
Education/Experience Requirements:
