Production Lead PennPak Solutions Bethlehem, PA Job Details Full-time 22 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Manufacturing company experience Full Job Description Bar Line Production Lead Job Summary The Bar Line Production Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day production operations on the bar line, ensuring the team meets production, quality, and safety standards. This position serves as the go-to resource for line operators, coordinating workflow, minimizing downtime, and driving team performance. Responsibilities and Expectations Lead and coordinate all extrusion/enrobing activities on the bar line to ensure daily production goals are met. Provide direction and support to line workers. Monitor line performance and quickly troubleshoot and escalate equipment or quality issues. Ensure proper setup, operation, and changeovers of production equipment. Conduct and document pre-operation checks, line clearance, and end-of-run tasks. Maintain accurate records of production counts, downtime, and material usage. Collaborate with Quality and Maintenance teams to resolve issues in real time. Ensure GMP, food safety, and company standards are followed at all times. Train new team members on proper procedures, safety practices, and production expectations. Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Perform other duties as assigned to support production and operational goals. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 2+ years of experience in food manufacturing or packaging required; prior leadership experience preferred. Strong knowledge of production equipment and production line operations. Ability to lead by example and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends as needed. Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:

This position is on the manufacturing floor almost constantly. Exposure to allergens such as milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, sesame, and soybeans is likely.
