Role:
The Production Tech L1 plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of manufacturing processes across multiple facilities. This position is responsible for supporting production lines by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and assisting with quality control measures. The role requires close collaboration with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve technical problems promptly, minimizing downtime and maintaining product standards. The Production Tech L1 contributes to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggestions based on hands-on experience with production equipment. Ultimately, this position ensures that manufacturing operations meet safety, quality, and productivity goals consistently.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical certification or vocational training in industrial maintenance or related field. Experience with preventive maintenance programs and troubleshooting production equipment. Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance in manufacturing. Basic computer skills for data entry and maintenance tracking. Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing production demands.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issues on the production line promptly. Assist in setting up and calibrating machinery to meet production specifications and quality standards. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify process improvements and implement corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and production issues. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. Support quality control efforts by monitoring product output and reporting deviations or defects.
