Job Description:
Job Summary The Manufacturing Engineer Technician will provide technical support to manufacturing operations, focusing on process improvement, troubleshooting, and equipment optimization to enhance efficiency and product quality. Job Responsibilities- Assist Manufacturing Engineers in the development, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing processes.
- Perform routine calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of production equipment and machinery.
- Collect and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and support problem-solving initiatives.
- Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement projects.
- Create and update manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production teams to train operators on new processes and equipment.
- Participate in new product introduction (NPI) activities, including prototyping and process validation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field.
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a metal powder or sintering industry.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and instrumentation.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Experience with data collection and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab).
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
