Job Description

About the Role As a Manufacturing Finishing Technician, you will play a vital role in our production cycle by operating specialized equipment to refine high-quality components. You will contribute to our operational excellence by mastering machinery, ensuring precise product specifications, and mentoring team members to drive collective success. Responsibilities Operate and calibrate industrial machinery, including press brakes, shears, and hot melt equipment, to meet production targets. Execute precise measurements using calipers and tape measures, applying mathematical proficiency with fractions and decimals to ensure component accuracy. Perform rigorous visual quality inspections to uphold product standards and minimize waste. Lead machine setups and provide technical guidance to junior operators to optimize workflow efficiency. Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including LEAN manufacturing and ISO standard compliance. Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant workspace by adhering to all environmental, health, and safety protocols. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and relevant industrial experience. Demonstrated ability to interpret technical instructions and perform accurate mathematical calculations. Strong commitment to workplace safety, including the consistent use of PPE and hazard reporting. Ability to adapt to changing production priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Preferred Skills Prior experience operating press brakes, shears, or similar metal fabrication machinery. Experience in a leadership or training capacity within a manufacturing setting. Familiarity with LEAN manufacturing principles and ISO quality standards. Proven track record of troubleshooting equipment and improving process efficiency.
