About Us Lang Specialty Trailers is a national leader in the design and manufacturing of custom trailers, priding ourselves on delivering high-quality, innovative solutions across a wide range of industries. We are currently seeking skilled, detail-oriented Carpenters and Manufacturing Technicians to join our team. We have immediate openings within our Plumbing, Electrical, Fiber, Roofing and Finish divisions. Position Overview Our Manufacturing Technicians are hands-on builders responsible for assembling high-quality trailer components from the ground up. Because our manufacturing process spans multiple departments—including framing, plumbing, electrical, and finishing—we look for versatile tradespeople with a background in carpentry, assembly, construction, welding, or mechanical work. Key Responsibilities Assemble custom trailer components following blueprints, layout plans, and engineering specifications. Efficiently complete assigned production tasks within designated timeframes to keep the assembly line moving. Work seamlessly with cross-functional teams and department leads, taking direction and executing instructions accurately. Maintain an exceptional eye for detail, ensuring all cuts, fits, and finishes meet our premium quality standards. Actively follow all company policies, workplace expectations, and safety guidelines to maintain a clean, efficient workspace. Skills & Qualifications Proven experience in carpentry, construction, manufacturing, or a related mechanical/assembly trade. High proficiency in reading a tape measure accurately and safely operating power tools (drills, saws, grinders, etc.). Ability to stand and move for a 10-hour shift and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs. Strong communication and collaboration skills, a positive attitude, and a solid work ethic. Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.
