Job Description
Quakertown, PA | 3rd Shift | $24.20/hour Adecco is hiring a Manufacturing Technician - Weaving Operations in Quakertown, PA! This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, operating equipment, and building technical skills in a precision manufacturing environment. In this role, you will operate specialized weaving equipment to produce high-quality materials used in medical and industrial applications. This position requires strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to follow detailed procedures to ensure products meet strict quality standards. Training will take place on 1st shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) for approximately 3 months. Upon successful completion of training, this position will transition to 3rd shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM). What You'll Do Set up and operate specialized weaving looms, including broad and shuttle looms. Prepare machines by following detailed specifications and production requirements. Draw in warp yarn and complete machine preparation activities as needed. Monitor equipment operation and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency. Inspect products during production and identify potential defects. Record production data, measurements, and machine downtime using a tablet. Follow SOPs, work instructions, and safety procedures to maintain consistent production. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing environment. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required. Manufacturing, machine operation, assembly, or related experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision. Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Ability to follow detailed instructions and production procedures. Basic math skills, including measurements and calculations. Comfortable using basic computer systems for production tracking and data entry.
