Job Description
Quakertown, PA | 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM | $24.20/hour Job Overview We are seeking a Precision Manufacturing Technician to join our team at our client's manufacturing facility in Quakertown, PA . This role is responsible for operating and monitoring specialized equipment used to produce high-quality precision fiber products. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working with extremely fine materials that require precision handling and excellent manual dexterity. The Precision Manufacturing Technician will operate production equipment, perform minor machine adjustments, complete required documentation, troubleshoot equipment issues, and support cleaning and preventative maintenance activities while maintaining strict quality and GMP standards. Responsibilities Operate precision manufacturing equipment according to company procedures, work instructions, and quality standards. Monitor machine performance and product quality to ensure products meet required specifications. Handle extremely fine fibers requiring strong attention to detail and steady hand skills. Perform minor machine adjustments, equipment set-ups, gauge changes, and troubleshooting as needed. Complete accurate production documentation, including batch records, logs, reports, and quality paperwork. Perform equipment cleaning, inspections, and preventative maintenance checks. Assist with ensuring machines are properly calibrated and ready for production. Identify equipment issues and communicate maintenance needs when necessary. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following GMP, safety, and company procedures. Support daily production goals while maintaining quality and efficiency standards. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Manufacturing, machine operation, assembly, or related experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn specialized equipment. Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail. Ability to follow detailed instructions, procedures, and documentation requirements. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, reliable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals. Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following areas is a plus: Precision manufacturing Medical device manufacturing Cleanroom production Machine operation Quality inspection Small-part assembly Textile or fiber processing
