Volt is immediately hiring RF Manufacturing Technician at State College, PA As a RF Manufacturing Technician, you will: Perform testing, troubleshooting, and calibration of avionics/RF electronics Diagnose issues using schematics, drawings, and test equipment Document test results and identify discrepancies Build, calibrate, and maintain RF test equipment Ensure proper functionality of units and test systems Resolve technical issues using logical and systematic approaches Support mechanical/electro-mechanical assembly as needed This is a 12-month full-time contract / contract-to-hire opportunity.
What We're Looking For:
HS Diploma with 6+ years of experience OR Associate's degree with 2+ years RF calibration and metrology knowledge strongly preferred Experience with environmental instruments (temperature/humidity)
Preferred Skills:
Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings and BOMs Knowledge of RF, analog/digital circuits, and electronic theory Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, etc.) Troubleshooting to component level and solving complex issues Good precision skills (microscope work) Familiarity with
IPC-610 / J-STD
standards Continuous improvement mindset
Pay Range:
