Job Description

Background:
Superior Belt Filter, LLC (SBF) provides dewatering solutions to producers of frac sand and other materials. SBF has championed the use of horizontal vacuum belt filter systems as the primary sand dewatering equipment with the goal of improving overall sand plant cost structure by eliminating the need for underdrain systems and directly producing a controlled moisture sand product. SBF currently has equipment in operation in Midland County Texas and will be adding two more systems in Loving County Texas.
Position:
SBF is actively seeking to fill the position of Field Service Technician to provide support to these locations. This will be a contract, 1099, position and the need is immediate.
Job Requirements:
Become proficient in all aspect of the operation and maintenance of the SBF system Provide onsite field support when issues arise Keep accurate inventory of all required spares Track equipment production and efficiency Track maintenance being performed to schedule Arrange for outside service when needed to support operations
Experience:
Must be highly self motivated and able to work in remote locations Must have at least 5 years prior experience in oil field / frac sand operations Must be flexible and able to solve problems both independently and with assistance from company technical staff Must have MSHA certification (or obtain) for work in surface sand mining operation and observe all MSHA, OSHA and company site specific safety requirements.
Pay:
$40.00 - $65.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 40.0 per week
