Description:
Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Programming Technician to support CNC programming and fabrication operations within our manufacturing team. This hybrid role combines hands-on machine operation with CNC programming, process optimization, and troubleshooting across multiple fabrication cells. The ideal candidate has experience with CNC programming, sheet metal fabrication, CAD/CAM software, and automated manufacturing systems and thrives in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Create, modify, test, and troubleshoot CNC programs Operate fabrication machinery and support production output Optimize existing programs for efficiency and manufacturability Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and scheduling teams Document programming updates and operating procedures Assist with training on fabrication equipment and software Support continuous improvement initiatives across fabrication operations Qualifications Degree, certification, or equivalent experience in CNC Programming, Manufacturing Technology, or related field Experience with CNC programming and metal fabrication processes Proficiency with CAD/CAM software, SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office Strong blueprint reading, measurement, and mechanical aptitude Experience with Salvagnini, Trumpf, or Amada equipment preferred Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills CNC Programming
