Job Description

Akkodis is seeking an Electrical Production Technician for a Contract job with a client in Fort Mill, SC . The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in electrical assembly, wiring, and production support, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Rate Range:
$20/hour to $25/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Electrical Production Technician job responsibilities include: Assemble electrical components, wire harnesses, and production kits to support customer orders and manufacturing requirements. Build and configure SMARTruck Medium Systems according to specifications and production schedules. Create and manage pick lists using the Inventory Control Management (ICM) system. Monitor inventory levels of assembly hardware and submit replenishment requests as needed. Support shipping, receiving, material staging, and inventory control activities. Participate in physical inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy. Utilize electrical tools, testing equipment, and hand tools to support assembly and troubleshooting activities. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while supporting continuous production operations.
Desired Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. 3-5 years of electrical assembly, manufacturing, or production experience.
Experience with:
Assembly Wiring, Electrical Components, Wire Harness Assembly, Production Equipment, Manufacturing Processes Hands-on experience using: Drills, Grinders, Voltage Meters, Small Power Tools, Hand Tools Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel. Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience staging and configuring electronic devices such as: Handheld Computers Wi-Fi Routers Communication Devices Experience supporting inventory management and warehouse operations.
