Operator

Operator Proficiently operate one or more pieces of equipment in a safe manner to manufacture high-quality products within a high voltage cable production environment. Areas of Responsibility Safely operate and maintain cleanliness of equipment used in cable manufacturing while meeting quality standards. Interact effectively with Man Machine Interface (MMI), including shop floor systems and operator displays. Read, understand, and follow Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure proper equipment operation and product quality. Complete and maintain all required operational paperwork and documentation. Enter and manage production data within MMI or touch screen systems, including daily reports, tally sheets, and scrap tracking. Use and maintain hand tools required for equipment setup, teardown, and operation. Perform quality checks and inspections to verify product specifications using tools such as micrometers, OTDR, gauge block microscope, and related equipment.
