$16.00 Position Summary The Pallet Table Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently assembling pallets according to production specifications. This role focuses on proper board placement, consistent assembly technique, proper use of pneumatic nail guns and maintaining continuous production flow. The operator must demonstrate mechanical awareness, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining both quality and safety standards throughout every shift. Key Responsibilities Machine Operation Operate the Pallet Tables to build pallets and / or components according to required production specifications. Position stringers, deck boards and other components accurately prior to fastening. Use pneumatic nail guns, staplers, and other hand tools safely and efficiently. Monitor assembly accuracy, ensuring proper spacing / alignment and fastening patterns. Adjust jigs, stops and guides as needed based on pallet design. ALWAYS use two (2) hands on nail gun. Quality Control Inspect lumber components before assembly to ensure they meet quality standards Ensure completed pallets meet the required specifications for size, spacing, nailing patterns and overall structural quality. Remove and report defective components or assembled pallets. Maintain consistent quality standards while meeting production goals. Safety & Maintenance Follow all company safety procedures, including PPE use and proper machine operation practices. Keep the Pallet Tables and work area clean, organized, and free of debris, dust and hazards. Perform basic tool checks, such as verifying nail gun function and airline condition. Immediately report equipment malfunctions, air-pressure issues, or nailing system failures or concerns to maintenance and supervision. Watch the "Nail Gun Safety" video. Production Support Communicate with supervisors and team members about production targets, material needs, or tool concerns. Assist with stacking, bundling, sorting, or transporting finished pallets as needed. Participate in production meetings and follow assigned shift tasks. Support other areas of the lumber line or pallet tables when necessary to maintain production flow. Qualifications Required Experience in pallet assembly or operating hand/pneumatic tools (experience preferred but not required). Ability to read tape measures, production sheets, and basic pallet blueprints. Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods. Basic mechanical and troubleshooting ability. Competencies Safety‑Focused

Work Environment Industrial manufacturing environment with noise, sawdust, and moving machinery. Requires personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, steel‑toe boots, and hearing protection. Fast‑paced environment with repetitive tasks and physical labor. Work area is not climate-controlled Schedule Full‑time; shifts may include early mornings, evenings, or overtime depending on production demands.
