Job Description

Job description: The QC Lab Technician supports the Plant Manager and Chemist by testing raw materials and finished goods to meet State DOT standards. This role focuses on quality control in a m anufacturing lab environment —
MEDICAL LAB EXPERIENCE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
Key Duties:
Perform QC tests: binder content, viscosity, hardness, color, skid resistance, etc. Follow State DOT sampling protocols. Test and evaluate raw materials (resins, pigments, waxes). Assist with product development and production issues. Provide backup coverage for other QC staff. Sample melter Work directly with the chemist
Requirements:
High school diploma (technical degree preferred). 1 years of manufacturing lab experience required ( medical lab experience not accepted ). Able to lift 50 lbs and work in hot, dusty, noisy environments . Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
Work Environment:
Lab and plant floor setting. Requires PPE, standing, lifting, and exposure to heat and noise. Uses lab instruments and standard office equipment. Monday-Friday 6am-6pm and can volunteer 1/2 day on Saturday $20.00 an hour
