Days and nights About the OpportunityOur client is seeking dependable Production Technicians to support manufacturing operations, equipment operation, material handling, and finished product packaging. Candidates must have forklift experience and be comfortable working in a physically active production environment. Manufacturing experience is preferred. Work ScheduleThis position follows a rotating, two-week schedule with 12-hour shifts:

Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday, totaling 36 hours.

Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, totaling 48 hours, including 40 regular hours and 8 overtime hours.

Day shift: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Night shift: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM Candidates must be available for their assigned shift and the alternating weekly schedule, including scheduled weekends. Key ResponsibilitiesOperate manufacturing equipment according to established production, safety, and quality procedures.

Gather, stage, and load materials for product compounding.

Follow equipment setup instructions and blend instruction sheets.

Prepare packaging for finished goods with accurate labeling and material identification.

Collect samples for quality control and color testing.

Operate forklifts to move raw materials and scrap to designated areas.

Conduct routine safety checks, equipment inspections, and production audits.

Accurately record operating information and production lot details.

Operate auxiliary equipment, including fume collection, dust collection, and bulk pellet transfer systems.

Assist with troubleshooting and support equipment repairs or process corrections.

Maintain clean, organized production areas.

Complete required training and provide production support as directed by team leadership.

QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.

Forklift experience required.

Manufacturing experience preferred.

Ability to follow written instructions and complete paperwork accurately.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Reliable attendance and flexibility to meet the required schedule.

Willingness to learn production equipment, processes, and safety procedures.

Physical RequirementsStand and walk for extended periods.

Frequently lift or move materials weighing up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 55 pounds.

Occasionally move objects requiring up to 75 pounds of force.

Perform reaching, pushing, pulling, grasping, and repetitive hand movements.

Climb stairs or ladders and perform bending, kneeling, and crouching as needed.

Operate a forklift or tow motor.

Assessment, Screening, and TrainingCandidates must complete and pass an online assessment after an initial phone screen prior to consideration.
Additional requirements include:
Drug screening and required medical examinations.

Completion of orientation and a minimum of 90 days of training.

Completion of a minimum 180-day probationary period.

Participation in ongoing hands-on, classroom, and computer-based training.
