Maintenance Operator

We're a small nutrition & healthy lifestyle company looking for a leader to join our team in Abilene, TX. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The role is responsible for keeping all manufacturing equipment operating and in good repair by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and corrective problem solving. Specifically, the role will involve the set-up, tear-down, corrective, planned, preventive, and predictive maintenance of the production equipment. This position requires that an individual be able to lift up to 50 pounds, be willing to work as part of a team, be able to work alone, think quickly, and follow directions. Any and all other required job functions deemed by management.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, procedure manuals and operating & technical instructions. Ability to write clearly on all documentation.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The position requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time. This position may frequently require you to bend and/or stoop, reach with hands and arms, climb, and lift while performing various tasks.
