Job Description

Luxor Staffing is hiring an SMT Operators paying $18 per hour. Weekly pay, possible overtime, optional direct deposit, benefits from day 1 on the job and much more!
Schedule:
8:00am to 3:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
Configure and calibrate SMT assembly machines for each specific production run. Accurately load electronic components, solder paste, and other necessary materials into the machines and feeders. Continuously monitor the SMT PCB assembly process to ensure it aligns with daily production schedules. Keep a constant watch on machine operations to proactively avoid errors or misfeeds. Inspect SMT PCB assemblies for manufacturing defects, such as misaligned components, missing parts, or soldering issues. Utilize AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) systems to guarantee the accuracy of component insertion and overall assembly quality. Promptly diagnose and fix machine errors or production issues as they arise on the line. Assist engineering and maintenance teams with regular preventative maintenance on SMT equipment to prevent costly downtime. Interact daily with the SMT team to help optimize the manufacturing process. Maintain clear and open communication with Shift Supervisors, Process Engineers, and Technicians to ensure production goals and metrics are consistently met.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Proven experience operating SMT assembly machines and handling SMT PCBs. Deep understanding of the end-to-end SMT manufacturing process. Exceptional visual acuity and attention to detail. Must possess the ability to quickly detect defects and ensure rigorous accuracy in high-volume production. Must have the ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
