Job Responsibilities:
Set up, program, and operate SMT equipment, including screen printers, pick-and-place machines, and reflow ovens. Load and verify electronic components, feeders, and reels against BOMs to ensure accurate placement and prevent errors. Perform first article and in-process inspections to verify component placement, solder paste application, and overall PCB quality. Troubleshoot minor equipment issues such as feeder jams and alignment problems, and report major issues to Engineering or Maintenance. Complete production and traceability documentation, perform routine equipment maintenance, and maintain a clean, safe work area following 5S standards.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of SMT equipment operation experience in an electronics manufacturing or PCBA environment. Knowledge of electronic components, including resistors, capacitors, and ICs, as well as component polarity and orientation. Familiarity with
IPC-A-610
standards; experience with AS9100D and
ISO 13485
is preferred. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and hand-eye coordination when working with small electronic components. Basic computer skills and the ability to communicate effectively with Quality, Engineering, and Warehouse teams. #
