In this energetic role, you will operate and monitor machinery along the assembly line, ensuring smooth and efficient manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery on the assembly line, adhering to safety standards and operational protocols Use measuring instruments and technical drawings to ensure parts meet specifications Perform manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting and the use of hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks Manage production documentation accurately, interpreting work orders, process instructions, and quality control reports Conduct routine inspections of machinery using factory experience and mechanical knowledge to identify issues before they escalate Assist in process improvement initiatives by suggesting efficiencies and participating in lean manufacturing practices Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of materials Skills Proven experience operating in a manufacturing or factory environment with assembly line exposure Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and use measuring instruments effectively Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other factory equipment Familiarity with manufacturing management systems and production documentation interpretation Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining manual handling best practices Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocol requirements Experience managing or supporting production or assembly teams with a focus on continuous process improvement Proficiency in mechanical assembly techniques and understanding of manufacturing processes such as lean manufacturing methodologies This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their skills within a vibrant manufacturing setting.
