JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary The Production Tech position performs the processing of cooked meat products under the supervisor and direction of the Processing Supervisor. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1. Performs the careful handling of both cold and hot cooked meat products 2. Inspects the meat for quality, removing anything that does not meet standards 3. Verifies product weight by placing it on a scale 4. Places product in packaging located on the Tiromat machine 5. Cleans edges of packaging to ensure a proper seal 6. Shovels product from a combo/container onto a table 3. Must be able to stand between 2 - 3 hours at a time 4. Must be willing to follow all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) of the company which include but are not limited to: use of a hair net, use of a company approved frock, no jewelry, no nail polish or artificial nails, no shorts, no open-toed shoes, no ripped clothing or rhinestones/glitter on clothing, no chewing gum, candy or tobacco. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
