Responsibilities:
As the Manufacturing Assurance Technician , you will uphold the safety regulations of our company and review the production products to guarantee that all meet quality expectations. As a quality inspector you will perform regular product evaluations, record inspection results, and report improvements to the production managers. Responsibility Perform regular quality assessments on all pipeline intervention products on behalf of manufacturing. Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations prior to final inspection. Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services. Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the final product to the specifications. Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control. Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records. Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner. Report product defects and reworks to management. Verifying all equipment is calibrated correctly Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Mobility throughout plant Ability to lift at least 45 pounds Visual hearing abilities with or without correction
Communication Skills Education/Experience Requirements:
3-5 years manufacturing experience Previous experience working as a quality control technician or in a job-related field for at least 1-3 years.
Required Skills:
Basic Computer Skills are a plus Fabrication Skills Bilingual is a plus Basic Math Skills, Shop Math Trigonometry Ability to read and work form blueprints and operator instructions Ability to read precision measuring instruments, calipers, OD/ID micrometers, tape measure, and depth gauges Welding and Piping fabrication experience a plus
