Manufacturing Technicians are responsible for performing a variety of assignments related to regular and special department functions to ensure the mold continuously flows through the plant with minimal to no interruption in the process. This is a second shift position with typical hours of 3:00 pm- 12:00 am.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Hard worker with dependable and reliable attendance Comply with all safety and health guidelines, quality standard practices/procedures, and housekeeping standards Locate, read & interpret standard practices and procedures from multiple cells Perform a variety of job duties in the wax cell including, but not limited to: die changeover, sprue or pattern manufacturing, mold assembly, and inspection Perform a variety of job duties in the dip cell including, but not limited to: hanging and dipping molds by hand, running the robotic dip cell, unloading molds, dewaxing, and inspection Perform a variety of job duties in the melt cell including, but not limited to: kaowool wrapping molds, loading ovens, pulling, setting, pouring, melting, shell removal, and part removal Perform a variety of job duties in the finishing cell including, but not limited to: Removing gates, cleaning parts, operating CNC equipment, inspection and repair, shipping and receiving to customers or subcontractors Maintain electronic records in various manufacturing systems Perform preventative maintenance on equipment or processes as assigned by leadership If certified on the forklift loading and unloading trucks, transporting material to point-of-use or storage location
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform many essential duties across multiple cells satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
This position requires a high school diploma or
HSED/GED
Equivalent. Must possess good computer skills and be able to learn new skills as needed.
