Direct Hire Hourly rate: $20 Role Overview We are partnering with a leading aerospace and avionics company to hire a Manufacturing Technician to support manufacturing, testing, and troubleshooting of advanced avionics systems. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong electronic troubleshooting skills who enjoys working at the component level. You'll collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to ensure high-quality, reliable products across the manufacturing lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Perform testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies, subassemblies, and final products Conduct component-level diagnostics and root cause analysis, documenting findings and corrective actions Support production activities including assembly rework, quality testing, and process adjustments Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) to execute testing and troubleshooting Perform pre-burn-in and final product testing using standard procedures Work with engineering teams to generate problem reports and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) Set up and operate test equipment for evaluation and validation of products Support continuous improvement of production efficiency, quality, and reliability Assist in resolving technical issues across the product line with minimal supervision Maintain high workmanship standards and accurate documentation Required Qualifications 6+ months of experience in an electronic testing or manufacturing environment Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits down to the component level Experience reading and interpreting schematics, drawings, and technical documentation Hands-on soldering skills (certification preferred but not required) Familiarity with Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) and electronic testing processes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently on routine tasks and escalate complex issues appropriately Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment Working knowledge of ESD safety practices #IND1Similar remote jobs
