Participate in ongoing operational training of packaging lines to gain full understanding of system performance 2. Communicate with Production Support Supervisor, operational crews and Terminal Managers to coordinate the most appropriate course of action to resolve production issues 3. Diagnose machine failures/issues; determine solutions and perform machine repairs/adjustments 4. Perform scheduled and impromptu preventative maintenance procedures 5. Inspect or test faulty machine components, identify defective areas and advise supervisor of repair needs 6. Use and help develop maintenance software for inventory, work order generation, work order completion, reporting and field note data collection 7. Clean, organize and improve production support shop, work areas and equipment 8. Work as a team or independently at various locations and on various types of packaging lines 9. Assist and train operational crews in diagnosing problems and fixing issues within their scope of performance 10. Input ideas and observations to further develop production and production support processes 11. Record production, repair, and machine maintenance information 12. Maintenance Processes Preferred Qualifications:

Completion of technical or mechanical school 5 years field work in maintaining automated machinery Fluent in English and Spanish languages Mechanical familiarity and know-how Good knowledge of electrical systems Good troubleshooting skills Good problem solving skills Task flexibility Familiarity and knowledge of tools Ability to work independently Ability to work in a team Basic computer skills Good organizational skills Good communication and people skills Ability to learn new systems and skills Basic welding skills Basic construction and assembly skills Familiarity and knowledge of using construction equipment/machines Essential Education High school diploma Essential Experience At least 5 years' experience in one of the following: Related maintenance or production departments Industrial equipment installation Industrial equipment repair Essential Skills Mechanical aptitude Good program solving skills Task-oriented and flexible
