A Manufacturing or Production Technician works with manufacturing equipment and machinery. Performs set up and tests, monitors, adjusts and repairs machines used to produce products or other machines. Inspects equipment, troubleshoots problems with machines or designs.
Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401K and more GIS is seeking a skilled and motivated Lease Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for monitoring and maintaining oil and gas production operations, ensuring facilities are operated in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in field operations, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring accurate production reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor daily operation of oil and gas wells, tanks, pumps, and other production equipment. Record and report accurate production data, test results, and operating conditions. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on production equipment. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Coordinate with field personnel, contractors, and dispatch for efficient operations. Respond to alarms, emergencies, and operational issues in a timely manner. Identify opportunities for production optimization and cost savings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Lease Operator, Production Operator, or related field role. Strong knowledge of upstream oil and gas production operations. Minimum 5 years of experience in performing equipment inspections, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance. Familiarity with SCADA systems and automation; at least 1 year of experience monitoring production using digital tools. Proficiency in gauging tanks, reading meters, and handling well testing procedures; 3-5 years of experience required. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
3-5+ years of experience in oil and gas production operations. Hands-on experience with compressors, pumps, and separators. Working knowledge of environmental and safety compliance requirements. Experience with work order systems and reporting tools. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Education:
