Job Summary The Bagging Line Operator is responsible for safely setting up, starting, operating, and maintaining mulch line bagging equipment. The main goals are to maximize production output, maintain high product quality standards, minimize machinery downtime, and support a clean, safe manufacturing yard environment. Key Responsibilities
Equipment Operation:
Set up, monitor, adjust, and shut down automated bagging machinery and conveyors.
Maintenance & Cleaning:
Perform basic upkeep, routine cleaning, and area housekeeping to ensure a safe workspace.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular validation testing to ensure the finished bags meet packaging standards.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnose, fix, and assist with general mechanical or electrical repairs during equipment breakdowns.
Documentation:
Accurately log production paperwork and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as daily output rates and downtime root causes.
