Job Description

Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Equipment Technician to join a leading semiconductor client in Dallas, TX. The Equipment Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing semiconductor assembly equipment in a fast-paced, high-mix manufacturing environment. This role performs preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on a variety of tools, including Datacon die attach equipment, K&S wire bonders, Disco saws, and ASM SMT systems, to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production operations. The technician also supports equipment installations, de-installations, and tool relocations while working closely with process engineers and production operators to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance. In addition, the Equipment Technician plays an active role in continuous improvement initiatives by participating in LEAN manufacturing and 5S activities, identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability, organization, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is hands-on, mechanically inclined, and able to work effectively in a compressed work week schedule while supporting the dynamic needs of the manufacturing floor.   • Related Associate Degree or equivalent military experience
  • Position will demand large amounts of time working in a cleanroom environment
  • Lifting (up to 50lb) and standing will be required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, and hands on ability are critical to this position
  • must be comfortable troubleshooting electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems
