8AM-4:30PM or 12PM-8:30PM Position Summary This position supports the production of composite bicycle rims, frames, and small parts within a manufacturing environment. The role involves preparing, curing, handling, and cleaning composite materials and tooling while following engineering specifications, safety procedures, and production instructions. Manufacturing Technicians Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and curing of composite parts using a variety of equipment, including: Industrial ovens Hydraulic lifts and carriers Molds and chemicals Overhead air systems Drill and bolt-up machines Dremel tools, impact guns, and computer systems Prepare and operate ovens according to engineering specifications to cure composite parts. Monitor oven process parameters during curing cycles, including temperature, time, and pressure. Bolt and remove molds using automated and pneumatic tools. Safely load and unload ovens and chillers following work instructions and safety guidelines. Remove internal bladders from rims using approved methods such as pulling, tapping rims on the floor, or using soap and water. Clean molds and rings to remove foreign material and prepare them for reuse in the layup process. #Nowhiring Must be able to frequently lift boxes, tools, and assemblies weighing up to 60 pounds throughout the workday. Must be able to occasionally lift items weighing up to 100 pounds (typically a few times per day). Required to wear safety shoes or toe caps
