Slitting Operator

Slitter Operator (Wide-Web Flexographic) 📍 Full-Time | Manufacturing Run it clean. Catch what others miss. Deliver quality. We re looking for a Slitter Operator to run high-speed slitting/rewind equipment and ensure finished products meet quality and customer expectations. This role is the final checkpoint before product ships-attention to detail is everything. What You ll Do Operate wide-web slitter/rewind equipment safely and efficiently Review job specs and ensure all materials are ready before setup Monitor product quality throughout the run (print, lamination, winding, defects) Label, pack, and document finished goods and scrap accurately Perform line clearance between jobs to prevent mix-ups Track production time and job activity in the system Perform basic maintenance, housekeeping, and equipment checks Communicate issues and work closely with team members to keep production moving What You ll Need Manufacturing experience (slitting, laminating, or printing preferred) Strong attention to detail and quality focus Mechanical aptitude and ability to follow work instructions Basic math and measurement skills Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Performance Expectations Achieve ~85% efficiency within first 90 days Maintain strong quality and safety standards Complete required training within first 30 days Reliable attendance and teamwork
