Production Support Technician Albany International Corp. - 3.3 Salt Lake City, UT Job Details 4 hours ago Benefits Paid time off 401(k) matching Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) designs, develops, and manufactures advanced composite components in order to help our customers push the frontiers of innovation. Our core strength is our ability to produce highly tailored, complex composite components. With our unique blend of products - including 3D woven structures, traditional and non-traditional 2D composite structures, and discrete through thickness reinforcement technologies, to name a few - AEC is able to produce composite components and products which meet performance and cost specifications often beyond the reach of metallic or conventional laminated composites. Expedites, routes and dispatches material and parts in accordance with production schedules and commitments. Reviews master production schedule to determine possible and actual shortages and alerts proper authorities of potential problems. Generates progress reports on schedule status and keeps records of completed orders. Takes appropriate action to expedite materials such as order damaged material repaired or in-house material transportation. Reports on completion dates, material changes or substitutions, shortages and schedule modifications.
Primary Responsibilities :
Considerable knowledge of the job. Substantial acquaintance with and understanding of general aspects of the job with a broad understanding of the detailed aspects of the job. General supervision and instructions given for routine work and detailed instructions given for new activities or special assignments. Contacts are typically with individuals within own department and occasionally with contacts outside own organization. Contacts involve obtaining or providing information or data requiring some explanation or interpretation. Driving a forklift Proficient in Excel. Knowledge in MRP software. Able to read bill of materials. Establish priority schedules for WIP. Resolve and recover from negative impact on schedules. Attend and contribute to all appropriate production and program meetings (data, status, etc) as necessary. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the job
Requirements:
High School Diploma 1-2 years expediter experience - As a Department of Defense Contractor we are required to hire US Persons. Visa sponsorship is not being offered.
