POSITION SUMMARY
The packaging line operator is responsible for the operations, maintenance, and cleaning of all packaging equipment, most predominantly the canning line.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

ARE NOT LIMITED TO
): Operating, cleaning, and maintaining the brewery's
WGC10 AND WGC250
in-line canning line, including a depalletizer, twist rinse/cleaner, in-line labeler, in-line carton packing and folding machine, and associated equipment Troubleshooting equipment failures and communicating repairs with packaging manager Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized packaging area Testing carbonation and dissolved oxygen using an Anton Paar CboxQC at-line meter Testing dissolved oxygen in cans using an Anton Paar PFD piercing unit and CboxQC at-line meter Performing seam checks using
CMCKUHNKE
equipment Operating a Meheen bottling line when necessary Maintaining accurate records Upholding established quality parameters Following established standard operating procedures Working closely with other packaging team members and management Inspecting product and package quality with great attention to detail Assisting in keg packaging operations/handling when necessary Possessing a willingness to learn, take direction, and work collaboratively
REQUIREMENTS
At least 2 years previous experience in a similar role at a brewery Understanding of physical requirements of this position Must be neat and understand cleaning and organization is paramount
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work at a fast pace and remain on feet for long periods Ability to frequently reach out with hands and arms as well as stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds employing traditional lifting methods Ability to be frequently exposed to wet conditions and work in extreme cold and heat Ability to safely handle chemicals Ability to work near moving mechanical parts
