Job Description
Are you an experienced maintenance or manufacturing professional who enjoys troubleshooting automated equipment and driving continuous improvement? As a Final Pack Manufacturing Technician, you'll play a critical role in maintaining production equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting the successful operation of our highly automated packaging processes at LEGO Manufacturing Virginia.

Day 2-2-3 shift pattern Special Training Opportunity Participate in approximately four weeks of paid training at a manufacturer location in Detroit. Training is expected to take place during October and November 2026. Transportation, accommodations, and meals will be provided by The LEGO Group. Flexibility to train on various shifts during the training period may be required. What You'll Do Provide daily technical support for automated production and packaging equipment. Troubleshoot equipment issues and serve as the first line of technical support for production operations. Analyze recurring equipment issues and implement sustainable corrective actions. Assist machine operators with equipment operation, changeovers, setup, and adjustments while following standard operating procedures. Monitor equipment performance to support production flow, throughput, and operational targets. Support continuous improvement initiatives using LEGO Continuous Improvement (LCI) tools and methodologies. Document equipment downtime events and perform root cause analysis to improve reliability. Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams on equipment improvements and new technology implementation. Support preventive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment availability and performance. Provide technical coaching, mentoring, and on-the-job training to machine operators and team members. Participate in equipment validation testing and supplier quality activities as a technical subject matter expert. This role supports production performance by quickly resolving technical issues, improving equipment reliability, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence. You'll have the opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing technology, solve complex technical challenges, and help shape the future of automated production at LEGO Manufacturing Virginia. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing, production, industrial maintenance, or equipment repair environment. Experience troubleshooting and repairing automated production equipment. Knowledge of pneumatic, servo, and industrial control systems. Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret production documentation, technical manuals, equipment drawings, and electrical diagrams. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems. Strong communication, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing skills. Ability to travel for required training. Preferred Qualifications Associate degree, technical diploma, certification, or higher education in Manufacturing Technology, Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field. Experience supporting highly automated manufacturing environments. Experience with preventive maintenance programs and reliability initiatives. Experience with root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience in corrugated packaging, converting, or packaging manufacturing environments.
