Manufacturing Safety Technician Kodiak Labor Solutions Kodiak Labor Solutions is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Safety Technician to support workplace safety initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for promoting a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, conducting facility inspections, and partnering with employees and leadership to reduce workplace risks and prevent injuries. Responsibilities Assist management and employees in implementing and enforcing company safety policies and procedures Promote safe work practices and a positive safety culture throughout the manufacturing facility Conduct routine facility inspections, audits, and safety assessments Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards Investigate incidents, near misses, and workplace injuries Assist with workers' compensation and return-to-work processes Conduct and support Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) Inspect safety equipment, PPE, emergency response equipment, and first aid supplies Track and verify completion of corrective actions Assist with employee safety training and orientation programs Maintain accurate safety records, inspection reports, and documentation Support continuous improvement initiatives related to workplace safety and risk reduction Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Minimum of 2 years of safety experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment OSHA 30 Certification (General Industry preferred) Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively with employees at all levels Proficient with Microsoft Office and safety documentation systems Preferred Qualifications Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST) certification Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis Knowledge of NFPA standards Bilingual (English/Spanish) Train-the-Trainer certification Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or production facilities Physical Requirements Ability to walk manufacturing floors for extended periods Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and access production areas as needed Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) Ability to work in manufacturing environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, and operating equipment Kodiak Labor Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity in the workplace.
