In this role, you won't just be following a script—you'll be a vital part of the entire lifecycle of a component, from raw material layup to final finish work. Whether you are performing complex wet layups, executing high-precision repairs to OEM standards, or crafting one-of-a-kind molds for our R D department, your work will directly impact the quality and safety of our flight structures. Team:

The Airbus Helicopters Flexrotor Program offers one of the most sophisticated small tactical unmanned aerial systems (STUAS) with vertical take-off and landing (VTOL). Your Challenges:

Performs composite manufacture and repair related to molds, wet and prepare layup, re-work/repair of existing structures. Perform finish work including sanding and painting. Create one of a kind molds and composite components for Research and Development. Perform in-depth inspection of outsourced composite components. Notifies affected parties when clerical errors are discovered or documentation is incomplete. Keeps track of Calibration/Certification dates of equipment and tooling.

Your Boarding Pass:

Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent 2 years experience in composite manufacturing and repair, or similar experience.

Citizenship:

This role requires US Person Status under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license).

Onsite:

able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces daily Personal Protective Equipment required: Steel-toed shoes are required for all shop floor visits, appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required when visiting the shop floor.

Pay Range:

Hourly pay range based on the required profile: $23•$38/hour. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on geographic differential. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
