Manufacturing Repair Technician 2 - 100% Onsite Insitu United States, Washington, Bingen Jul 27, 2026 Insitu is seeking a Manufacturing Repair Technician Qualified Candidates will have the following: Experience with performing assembly, disassembly, repair, installation and/or inspection tasks. Testing and calibration of electrostatic discharge (ESD) stations and other test equipment and records calibration data. Programing air vehicle and ground control station (GCS) systems. Reviewing and updating technical documentation. Maintaining test and calibration tools and equipment and performing simple measurements. Usage and maintenance of hand and/or power tools.
Education and Experience:
High School and 2 years of related experience. Knowledge of air vehicle maintenance processes, policies, culture, and standard practices (e.g., return to service, normal duties/responsibilities, time constraints, available resources) in order to effectively represent the operator within the company. Knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities and data needed for delivery configurations. Knowledge of parts, materials and processes related to electrical, electronic, electro-mechanical and electro-optical components. Knowledge of electrical safety practices (e.g., lockout-tag out, personal protective equipment, grounding). Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design). Complete knowledge of shop processes to include Foreign Object Damage/Debris (FOD) prevention, material handling, safety, calibration requirements and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD). Knowledge of Unmanned Air Vehicle Systems (UAS) to include air vehicle, ground segments (e.g., ground stations and mission plans) and supportability. Knowledge of computer systems. Ability to use and learn different software platforms. Experience with networking, command line, serial communications, imaging, Windows 10, Microsoft office is a plus.
