Position Title:
Sr. Production Test Technician (2nd Shift)
Position Description:
Protingent Staffing has an exciting direct-hire opportunity for a Sr. Production Test Technician (2nd Shift) with our client located in Kirkland, WA.
Job Description:
This role performs high-level technical functions across the full manufacturing lifecycle, assisting engineering with the setup ofplex systems, rigorous quality testing, and the troubleshooting and rework required to bring aerospaceponents to final flight-readiness.
Job Responsibilities:
System Integration & Setup:
Perform functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up, as well as performing troubleshooting, rework, and quality testing related to the production of parts,ponents, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
Complex System Diagnostics:
Assemble, test, and troubleshootplex assemblies and/or final systems. Use standard test equipment and analyze results to evaluate performance and determine the need for adjustment.
Specialized Test Equipment:
Assist with the setup, calibration, and operation of specialized test equipment including HiPot, automated test stands, and data acquisition systems.
Troubleshooting & Rework:
Perform root-cause fault isolation and execute rework on parts, subassemblies, and final assemblies. This includes adjusting or replacing defective circuitry and electronicponents using precision hand tools and a soldering iron.
Quality Assurance & Validation:
Executeprehensive quality testing to ensure allponents meet aerospace standards before final assembly.
Engineering Partnership:
May assist in developing methods and procedures to modify the manufacturing process and work with engineers in conducting experiments.
Job Qualifications:
Education:
Associate degree (AS) in Electronics Technology, Mechatronics, or related field / equivalent electronics military schooling (e.g., Avionics, EW, or Systems Maintenance) required.
Experience:
Demonstratespetency (typically 2-4 years of direct experience in the essential functions of the position) in production testing and system-level troubleshooting.
Diagnostic Tools:
Proficiency with standard and specialized test equipment, including Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeters (DMM), and Spectrum Analyzers.
Mechanical & Electrical Knowledge:
Intermediate electrical/electronic knowledge, including a strong ability to interpret schematics, blues, and drawings to perform adjustments andponent replacement.
Precision Manual Skills:
Skilled in soldering and utilizing precision hand tools for the repair or replacement of improperly functioning circuitry or electronicsponents.
Software & Data:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and experience utilizing sophisticated programs, industrial control software, and data acquisition software (i.e., HiPot) to collect and evaluate operating and test data.

Salary Range:
$31.76 - $47.64/hr. (mid-range target $33/hr.) plus an additional $2 per hour as a 2nd shift differential. ITAR obligations are associated with this role, U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a) (1), (3) is required. An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a pre-employment background screen and drug test which includes screening for the use of cannabis.
