Job Description

Description The Injection Production Technician monitors automated production equipment, maintains supply of production materials, inspects parts, operates forklift, and various other tasks, all with an emphasis on quality and safety.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Understands the processing aspects of equipment, performs quality checks, and reports any defects to shift Leadership and/or QA
  • Responds to machine alarms promptly
  • Performs basic troubleshooting on machines and communicates problems to shift leadership and/or Maintenance teams
  • Properly completes detailed paperwork concerning production data, heldware, downtime and machine reports in a timely manner
  • Ensures optimum part quality
  • Correctly inputs all SPC data in a timely fashion
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Ability to follow directions and work well in a team
  • Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Interested in Continuous Improvement and able to thrive in a self-directed environment
  • Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations
Education and Experience:
  • HS Diploma/GED Required. Three years of relevant experience (one employer) may be substituted
  • At least one year of related experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods working on feet
  • Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced
