In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring quality standards are met, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process. Night Shift- 6:00 pm- 6:00 am on a 12-hour 2-2-3 rotating schedule. The starting wage depends on experience + applicable shift premiums. Dependable and reliable attendance is required for all positions
Available Manufacturing Technician Roles Wax Technician:
set up and run automated wax injection presses. The injected parts are then assembled onto the sprue to create the part mold. These jobs require a highly detailed inspection of parts as well as manual dexterity. Wax Technicians must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on quality and be committed to excellence.
Dip/dewax technician:
Dip / De-Wax Technicians are responsible for coordinating the dipping of wax patterns into the ceramic slurry to develop the shell coat and then evaluating the wax from the mold.
Melt/Rough Clean Tech:
Technicians are responsible for melting alloys to form metal in pot. Pouring metal into molds and setting down correctly according to standard practices. Removing ceramic in rough clean with water blaster and/or caustic, cutting off from sprue with a cut-off saw or cold break unit, and desludging tanks to clean them. Finishing Technicians are responsible for performing a variety of assignments related to regular and special department functions to ensure the mold continuously flows through the Cell with minimal to no interruption in the process. Finishing Technicians are responsible for ensuring the parts are defect-free, meet customer specifications, and are shipped to the customer. Qualification Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. HSED/GED
equivalent preferred. Must possess good computer skills and be able to learn new skills as needed. Communication Skills Must be able to effectively communicate with other employees to share information, solve problems, and instruct or train lesser-skilled employees. Must have the ability to read and interpret English documents such as part drawings, shop orders, work plans, and short correspondence. Must be able to write standard reports and documentation. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and/or hear, and/or use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand, and/or walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Protective Clothing/Equipment Required Safety glasses and safety shoes must be worn in all manufacturing areas. Additional PPE may be required as needed.
