Job Title:
Chemical Manufacturing Technician Assistant Job Description Join our team as a Chemical Manufacturing Technician Assistant, where you will work closely with our Chemical Manufacturing Technician. Your role will involve assisting with the preparation and cleaning of reactors, following applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) to ensure the successful completion of batches. This includes real-time documentation, weight checks, component counting, and preparation of materials. Responsibilities Assist the Chemical Manufacturing Technician with preparation and cleaning of reactors. Follow SOPs and cGMPs to complete batches efficiently and accurately. Perform real-time documentation, weight checks, and component counting. Conduct removal, consolidation, inspection, and preparation of materials. Essential Skills Basic math calculations Experience in chemical handling and operating Knowledge of blending and titration Understanding of pharmaceutical and API processes Familiarity with GDP, method validation, and method development Analytical chemistry skills Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma 1-2 years experience in Chemical Operating or Chemical Handling Work Environment This role is based in an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) manufacturing facility, which is highly regulated. Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, full-face respirators, and occasionally Tyvek suits will be required to prevent getting wet, although the primary cleaning agent used is citric acid. The typical attire will be a uniform rather than Tyvek suits. The position offers flexible start times, requiring at least 8.5-hour shifts starting between 6-9am from Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours a week with potential overtime opportunities. A $6/hr shift differential applies for third shift work. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Germantown, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
