Job Description:
KI, a world class supplier of innovative and award-winning furniture solutions for business, educational, and healthcare environments, is seeking a full-time Paintline Technician to join our Green Bay manufacturing facility on our 1st shift. $1.00/hour raise is also given within the first year of employment. Job Duties:
Paintline Technicians are responsible for hanging parts/hooks on the paint line, taking hooks off as needed, applying the powder coat paint to the product, performing color changes and taping product coming off the paint line. The Paintline Technicians support the assembly cells and provide them with needed product to meet their final assembly schedules. Hang hooks and parts on the Paint line following the identified priorities Manually apply powder paint to production parts Perform paint color changeovers Tape parts coming down from the line to prevent scratches Inspect & pack parts off the line (assemble if necessary) Keep record of bad parts JIT scan
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred Value Added Skills:
Mechanically inclined with previous manufacturing experience, but not required Team Player Computer knowledge Willingness to learn Ability to train on any shift
Positive Attitude Physical Requirements:
Working in areas where it can get warm Working in a smoke free environment Activities including standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Willingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow
Shift:
This is a 1st Shift position Hours are 6am-2pm Monday-Friday Starting rate of pay is $19/hour Overtime during busy season KI offers a welcoming work culture with competitive benefits for eligible employees.
