About the Role As a Manufacturing Equipment Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring production excellence by operating complex machinery and maintaining high quality standards. You will utilize your technical expertise to monitor process flow, mentor team members, and drive operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate and monitor production equipment, including presses, furnaces, and machining centers, to meet daily output targets. Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers, dial indicators, and electronic gages to verify part specifications. Interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production and assembly. Maintain and analyze Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts to proactively identify and address process variations. Conduct thorough visual inspections and testing to ensure all products meet rigorous quality standards. Manage work area organization and prioritize tasks to support seamless production flow and information sharing across teams. Document production data, including quantities and scrap reporting, to maintain accurate inventory and process records. Promote a culture of safety by identifying potential hazards and adhering to established environmental and safety protocols. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Proven ability to read and interpret technical documentation, SOPs, and blueprints. Strong mathematical aptitude, specifically with decimals and fractions. Experience using precision measurement devices and data collection equipment. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Preferred Skills Prior experience in a technical manufacturing or machine operation role. Demonstrated ability to train or provide guidance to junior personnel. Familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts and quality management systems.
