Role:
The 2nd Shift, Monday through Thursday 4:30pm-2:30am, EMLK Operator plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by operating and monitoring Electro-Magnetic Leak Key (EMLK) machinery during the second shift. This position ensures that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely, meeting quality standards and output targets. The operator is responsible for setting up equipment, performing routine inspections, and troubleshooting any issues that arise to minimize downtime. Collaboration with maintenance and quality assurance teams is essential to maintain optimal machine performance and product integrity. Ultimately, the role contributes directly to the company's manufacturing goals by maintaining consistent production flow and adhering to safety and quality protocols.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience operating manufacturing machinery, preferably EMLK equipment or similar. Ability to work the 2nd shift schedule consistently. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification or training in manufacturing operations or machine operation. Experience with quality control processes in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with computerized production tracking systems. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor EMLK machinery during the 2nd shift to ensure continuous production. Perform routine equipment setup, calibration, and adjustments to maintain product specifications. Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to identify and resolve any operational issues promptly. Collaborate with maintenance personnel to report and address mechanical problems or malfunctions. Maintain accurate production logs and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards. Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and promote a safe working environment for all team members. Assist in training new operators and support continuous improvement initiatives within the production line.
