Ready to join a six-time U.S. Best Managed Company? At KENT Worldwide™ , we're seeking a Production Specialist at our Superior, WI Facility. This position is designed and intended to be performed in Superior, WI.
Position Summary :
The position of Production Technician measures, blends, and pasteurizes product while following all safety guidelines, process controls, operating procedures, work instructions, and requirements set up by the FDA and upper management. They also clean and sanitize the production equipment, utensils, and environment according to relevant work instructions. Communication with other on-site departments will be instrumental in a Production Technician's ability to ensure batches meet all required specifications in a timely manner.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Participate in Preventive Control, Quality, and Safety initiatives. Follow written SOPs / Work Instructions, along with GMPs, and other core procedures as applicable. Complete all required pre-op and post-op sanitation and cleaning. Measure batches accurately with proper documentation. Blend and Pasteurize batches while completing required documentation. Record and communicate any deviations to quality and supervisor. Follow procedures to complete required sanitation of processing equipment, as well as ingredient containers and measurement utensils. Assist on the packing line as needed. Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly manner. Routinely navigate and utilize digital user interfaces (PLC screens, android mobile devices) to complete picking work, product pasteurization, and equipment cleaning.
Education, Experience & Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent Demonstrated work reliability The ability to do basic math ( -x ÷ ) Read and write clearly Basic Computer Literacy
