Line Operator Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate restrike presses, steam treaters, and oil impregnators
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections using various measuring tools
- Troubleshoots and performs appropriate maintenance of the equipment by observation and general cleaning.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications
- Follow safety, quality, and environmental policies
- Record production and inspection data
- Load/unload parts and operate overhead hoists and conveyors
- Loads, unloads and operate steam treaters and oil impregnators.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance
- Support continuous improvement and training efforts
- Work overtime as required
- Perform other duties as assigned Requirements for 3rd shift
Line Operator:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred
- Minimum of one year related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
