Stretching Operator Responsibilities:
- Stretch and shape dough to required specifications, ensuring consistency in size, thickness, appearance, and quality
- Inspect products throughout the stretching process to verify conformance to established standards
- Ensure product is processed and delivered to the next production stage in a timely manner to maintain production flow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stretching area, equipment, and workstations
- Follow all GMP, HACCP, SQF, food safety, quality, and safety requirements
- Monitor product quality and communicate concerns, deviations, or non-conformances to leadership
- Identify production issues and opportunities for process improvement
- Support production changeovers, sanitation activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Complete required production and quality documentation accurately and timely
- Monitor equipment within the work area and communicate maintenance or operational concerns
- Communicate production issues, food safety concerns, equipment problems, and opportunities for improvement in a timely manner Requirements for
Stretching Operator:
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull ingredients, materials, and equipment weighing up to 60 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks involving hands, wrists, arms, and shoulders
- Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, and climb stairs as needed
- Ability to safely handle and transport product trays, racks, and production materials
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, moving equipment, and food production machinery
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
