Job Description

Job Overview Costa Custom Boats is looking to hire an experienced Naval Architect to help and be a part of our growth in the custom center console catamaran industry. If you're hard-working and dedicated, Costa is a great place to further your career. Salary is negotiable based on qualifications. Responsibilities for Naval Architect
  • Assess project requirements and research feasibility
  • Negotiate and agree on project budgets, timescales, and specifications
  • Plan and supervise the construction of vessels
  • Produce detailed designs of boats using drawings and specialist computer software
  • Develop and utilize test procedures including computer modeling and scale models
  • Interpret and analyze data and test results
  • Source and purchase components, equipment and materials
  • Lead teams from a variety of specialties to oversee building and testing boats Qualifications for Naval Architect
  • Able to analyze and interpret technical information and drawings
  • Experience with CAD
  • Experience with CFD software preferred
  • work to timetables and under pressure to meet deadlines

  • Relevant design work experience is desirable

  • Strong interpersonal skills

Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
