The Senior Ship Control Systems Engineer will provide analytical and engineering support to the
COMSUBPAC
Maintenance and Material Readiness Directorate (N4) with a focus on ship and submarine maneuvering, control systems, hydrodynamic performance analysis, and naval engineering. This role involves leveraging expertise in submarine control systems, logistics, and maintenance to manage new initiatives, coordinate stakeholders, and drive project completion. The Senior Engineer will also create concise, leadership-ready briefs to communicate complex technical findings and project status to clients and senior leadership. This position is based at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, with potential travel to various client locations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Ten (10) years of engineering experience, including five (5) years working with Fly-By-Wire (FBW) Ship Control Systems (SCS). Active DoD Secret clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Engineering. Three (3) years of experience in a shipyard, naval warfare center, or working aboard ships/submersibles.
