Job Description

Overview Are you a Marine Engineer with 3 years of experience looking for their next challenge? If so, our team in Washington, DC is looking for individuals to help support the United States Coast Guard and our Ship Design Group! Responsibilities As a Journeyman Marine Engineer ,​ you will have the opportunity to do the following: Assist Senior Mechanical Engineers in design, development, and evaluation of the operation of marine vessels, ship machinery, and related equipment. Support the US Coast Guard by reviewing third party design modifications. Help with performing design reviews, evaluating constructability. Help resolve technical issues, and managing information generated through the design and construction phase. Conduct marine engineering analysis. Create graphical representations of structures and systems. Inspect ship equipment or systems. Research advanced engineering designs or applications. Help prepare technical reports.

#LI-EW1 Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance At least 3+ years of experience in: Marine Systems engineering At least 1 year of experience in: Working with Microsoft office suiteExperience with Auto-CAD Pay Transparency Statement

is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $85,000.00/Yr. - USD $95,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
