We are currently looking for a junior Installation Engineer to join our team in Houston. The Installation Engineer works within the offshore Pipeline Engineering Department, which is responsible for a variety of disciplines including design, fabrication and installation, in preparation for and support of offshore pipeline installation projects. Part of a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team, your focus is preparatory work such as design, analyses, working procedures, material take-off and offshore engineering support. The department, amongst others, is responsible for the design of permanent offshore subsea structures that are in line with the by client defined standards in a timely and cost effective manner. Your role As an Installation Engineer, you assist the project Lead Engineer in designing and implementing innovative, cost-effective engineering solutions for the preparation and safe and successful completion of all offshore installation activities. You conduct analyses, develop procedures, perform detailed calculations and simulations using the appropriate computer software and provide hands-on support on board the installation vessels during the offshore phase.
